Day 2 — Strength for Mothers
Made on Purpose
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
Psalm 139:14
How many times do you look in the mirror and see only the exhaustion? The dark circles, the hair you didn't have time to fix, the outfit left for tomorrow. The day-to-day of motherhood consumes so much that we sometimes forget to look deeper — at who we really are.
God didn't make you in a rush. He formed you with care and intention, like a craftsman who knows every detail of his work. You are not a rough draft. You are the version He approved, the one He signed.
That doesn't change when you're in an apron, when you cry without knowing why, when you feel like you're not keeping up. Your frailty doesn't erase God's work in you. In fact, it's exactly there that He shows up most — because when you recognize your need for Him, you make room for Him to work.
You were made on purpose. For this day, for this child, for this life. It wasn't a mistake. It was His choice.
Prayer
Father, when I forget who I am, remind me that You never have. May I see myself through Your eyes — loved, created with purpose, enough in Your grace. Amen.
