Day 1Strength for Mothers

You Were Chosen

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Psalm 127:3

Before you were a mother, you were loved. Before any child arrived, God already knew your name, knew your heart, and chose you. It wasn't by accident. It wasn't because you had all the answers or because you'd never fail. It was by grace — the same grace that carries you through every morning you face with tired eyes and a full heart.

Being a mother isn't the only reason you matter. But it is an extraordinary calling. That child you care for, whom you love sometimes without understanding how, is a gift straight from the hand of God. Not something you earned — something He entrusted to you.

Today, when the routine closes in and exhaustion hits, remember: you're not in this alone. The One who gave you this gift also promises to walk beside you as you care for it. Let Him do that. You can trust Him.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for choosing me for this calling. When I feel too small, remind me that You are big enough for both of us. May I care with love and rest in Your grace. Amen.
