Day 69Marriage Devotional

Even Financial Troubles

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.

Romans 8:28

Money is one of the topics that creates the most tension in marriage. Bills that don't add up, dreams put on hold, disagreements over how to spend or save. If you've been through this, you know that financial strain affects more than your wallet — it affects your mood, your intimacy, the peace in your home.

But Romans 8:28 dared to say something extraordinary: all things — including financial hardship — work together for the good of those who love God. Not that the difficulty is good in itself. But that God is able to bring good fruit even from what looks like nothing but lack.

Many couples have discovered that in seasons of hardship, they learned to truly work as a team, to be more creative, to treasure what money can't buy. God uses even that.

If finances are weighing on you right now, don't let that separate what God has joined together. Sit down together, pray together, face it together. God is right there in the middle of it.

Prayer

Father, financial worries sometimes overwhelm us. Help us to trust in You, to be partners in this challenge, and to remember that You provide for those who love You. Take care of our home. Amen.
