Day 67 — Marriage Devotional
Sufficient in Weakness
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
Have you ever felt too weak for the marriage you're living? Out of patience, out of strength, not knowing what to say or what to do? There are days like that — days when you reach your limit.
Paul knew that place. And it was exactly there that God said something that changed everything: "My grace is sufficient for thee." Not "be stronger." Not "try harder." But: My grace is enough.
God's power doesn't need your strength to work — it is made perfect in your weakness. That means your marriage doesn't depend on you having everything figured out, never making mistakes, always knowing the right answer. It depends on you leaning on the One who never fails.
Today, if you feel weak, you are in exactly the right place to receive God's grace. Let yourself be held up. His grace is real, it is enough, and it reaches even where your own strength runs out.
Prayer
God, I confess my weakness. I don't have the strength for everything this marriage demands of me. But You do. May Your grace be sufficient for me today, and may Your power show up where I fall short. Amen.
