Day 56 — Marriage Devotional
Glorifying God Together
“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
Psalm 34:3
There's something extraordinarily beautiful about a couple who worship together. It doesn't have to happen at church. It can be in the kitchen in the morning, a verse read aloud. It can be a prayer before bed, even a short one, even when you're both exhausted. It can be a shared "thank You, God" when something goes right. When the two of you glorify God together, something shifts in the marriage. You stop each being your own center and start orbiting the same Center together. That creates a harmony that doesn't come from the two of you, but from the God who unites you. If your devotional life as a couple has been cooling off, it's not too late to start again. One simple little prayer before bed is already a beginning. And God honors simple beginnings.
Prayer
God, may our marriage be marked by worshiping together. May You be the center of our life, and may glorifying Your name be something we do together, every day. Amen.
