Day 44 — Peace in Place of Anxiety
The Hairs of Your Head Are Numbered
“But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:7
God's care is so detailed it's almost overwhelming: He knows the exact number of hairs on your head. Think about what that means. The same God who holds the galaxies together leans in over you with a meticulous attention that misses no detail of your life. Anxiety makes you feel forgotten, lost in the crowd, as if your problems were too small for God to notice or too big for Him to solve. Jesus dismantles both ideas at once: nothing about you is insignificant to Him, and nothing is too big for Him. If He counts your hairs, He has certainly seen today's distress, the bill that's keeping you up at night, the worry over that child of yours. Nothing goes unnoticed. "Fear not" — not because the problems don't exist, but because you are under the watchful eye of a Father who tends to the smallest details. Today, remember: you are not a lost number in the world. You are known, counted, and cared for, strand by strand.
Prayer
Father, thank You for a care so detailed it counts even my hairs. If You notice the smallest details of me, then You notice my distress too. I will not fear. Amen.
