Day 4Peace in Place of Anxiety

He Cares About You

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:7

There's a huge difference between knowing God exists and feeling that God cares about you — about your small, particular story. Anxiety often feeds on that quiet doubt: "Do I really matter? Does God have time for problems as tiny as mine next to the whole world?" Today's Word answers with no room for doubt. You can cast all your anxiety upon Him — not just the great tragedies, but the silly worry, the fear you're ashamed to confess, the trouble no one else would understand. Why? Because He cares for you. The word "cast" is strong: it means to throw with force, to unload all at once, to take it off your shoulders and place it on His. God is not tired of you, nor bored by your troubles. Today, choose one worry and, in prayer, throw it literally into the Father's hands. He can handle it. And you matter to Him.

Prayer

Father, I cast upon You what consumes me. I won't hold onto it alone anymore. I believe You care for me — even in the details no one else sees. Amen.
