Day 3 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
More precious than you imagine
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
Psalm 139:14
Yesterday's verse compared the virtuous woman to the finest jewels. Pause on that image for a moment: God looks at you and sees something of incalculable worth. The world, though, keeps trying to convince you otherwise — that your value lies in your body, your productivity, other people's approval. What an exhausting lie. Your worth was never defined by a mirror or by your mistakes; it was defined by the hands that formed you. You are not a rough draft that went wrong. Every detail of you was thought through by a Father who makes no mistakes. On the days you feel small, disposable, "less than others," come back to this truth: in God's eyes, you are a marvelous work. A rare jewel. You don't need to prove yourself to have worth — you already have it, and no one can take it from you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for forming me with such care. Heal the way I see myself, and teach me to see in myself the worth You see. When I feel small, remind me that I am precious to You. Amen.
