Day 17 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
When Your Own Rise Up and Call You Blessed
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.”
Proverbs 31:28
Maybe no one has thanked you today for what you do. Maybe you care, serve, and love in silence, without applause, and sometimes wonder if anyone even notices. Look at this promise: the day comes when "her children arise up, and call her blessed." Recognition comes — maybe not today, maybe not in the way you expect, but the seeds of love you plant in the lives of your own are never lost. What you do for your family is eternal, even when it seems small and invisible. And more than that: even if human recognition is slow to come, there is Someone who already calls you blessed right now, who sees every hidden gesture and treasures every tear. Don't live for applause, which is never certain; live for the eyes of God, which never turn away from you. Keep loving. The harvest of love is certain, even when it takes time to arrive.
Prayer
Lord, when my care goes unnoticed, remind me that You see everything. Give me strength to love without expecting applause. And, in Your time, let recognition blossom in the lives of those I love. Amen.
