Provision for Her Household

The woman of Proverbs 31 provides for her household — she rises early, prepares the food, organizes the day. Behind this verse is an enormous love: the love of someone who makes sure her own don't go without. Maybe you recognize yourself in this early riser who wakes before everyone else so the household can run. Know that God sees every quiet gesture of your care. But know this too, because it lifts the weight off your shoulders: provision doesn't depend on your effort alone — the true Provider is God. You plant, organize, and work, but it's He who makes it grow; it's He who promises to supply all your needs according to His riches. You don't carry the household alone. Today, do your part with diligence and rest in the part that belongs to Him. The Father who feeds the birds of the air will not forget your table.
