Day 58Young Woman of Faith

Fear Not, I Am With You

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

When God says "fear not," He isn't ignoring what you're feeling. He's speaking from the vantage point of Someone who sees more than you see. He's saying: I know what's there, and I tell you — you have reason to trust.

Three powerful verbs in this verse: strengthen, help, uphold. And one means: His faithful right hand. The hand that has never failed. The hand that upheld Abraham, Moses, David, Ruth, Mary — and that upholds you today.

You're not facing life alone. You're not figuring out the future alone. You're not carrying the weight of your insecurities alone. He is with you. Not like a distant cheerleader — but like Someone holding onto you as you make your way through.

Today, whatever the situation is that made you want to give up, receive this promise as your own. Because it is. He said it for you.

Prayer

God, today I receive the promise that You are with me. May I feel Your hand upholding me — especially when my strength runs out. Thank You for being faithful. Amen.
