Day 56Young Woman of Faith

Standing Firm in What You Believe

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

Firmness isn't stubbornness. It's the ability to know what you believe and stand in it even when no one else is standing with you. It's telling the difference between conviction and simple habit, and defending that conviction with love — not with arrogance.

There will be days when your faith is questioned. It might be in a college debate, a family conversation, a group of friends. Someone will ask, "but do you really believe that?" and the question will feel like a challenge.

In those moments, you don't need to have all the answers. No one does. But you can have clarity about what your faith is built on. You can say honestly: I can't answer everything, but I know what I believe and why. That's firmness.

And when you don't know? When doubts come? Bring them to God. Honest doubt is different from unbelief. He isn't afraid of your questions — He's big enough to answer them.

Prayer

Lord, may my faith not be merely a family inheritance, but my own conviction. May I know what I believe and stand firm in it — with love and with firmness. Amen.
