Day 55Young Woman of Faith

Social Media and Comparison

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Galatians 6:4

You spend some time scrolling and suddenly feel that pang. Someone else's life looks more beautiful, more put-together, happier. Her body looks more perfect. Her friends look more fun. And you close your phone feeling like less.

That's called comparison. And it steals with impressive efficiency — it steals your peace, your gratitude, your identity. It takes what's good in your life and makes it seem small.

Paul says something precious: examine your own work. Not someone else's. Your own. Look at what God is doing in you, through you, for you — without the filter of someone else's life.

What do you have to be grateful for today? What has grown in you over the last few months that never showed up in a feed? That's real. That's yours. And it's worth far more than what you're seeing on the screen.

Prayer

Father, free me from comparison. May I celebrate what You do in me without needing to diminish what You do in others. Thank You for the unique path You've laid out for me. Amen.
