Day 45 — Young Woman of Faith
Roots Before Fruit
“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.”
Matthew 12:35
What's inside you will show. You can't fake it forever. What you nurture in your heart — the beliefs about yourself, about God, about love — will show up in your choices, your words, your relationships.
That's why guarding your heart (remember Day 31?) isn't a stand-alone task. It's the foundation of everything. A woman whose heart is full of truth, of faith, of identity in Christ — will act differently. Will love differently. Will choose differently.
Not because she's perfect. But because what comes out of her flows from a clean source. When the inside is healthy, the fruit shows it. When the inside is confused, hurt, or empty, the fruit reflects that too.
So, before seeking better relationships, ask: how is my inner life? What have I been feeding it? What has been coming out of me these past few weeks? That honesty is the first step of all real transformation.
Prayer
Lord, take care of my inner life. May what I carry inside be true, healthy, and full of You. May the fruit of my life reflect what You've placed in me. Amen.
