Day 40Young Woman of Faith

Holiness Is Possible

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4

Holiness isn't something you achieve when you finally stop failing. It's a process — a walk toward God that happens day by day, in the ordinary, in what seems too small to matter.

Sometimes holiness feels impossible because we picture it as a static state of perfection. But in the Bible, holiness is movement. It's turning toward God. It's choosing Him when the other option seems easier.

And His will is that you be holy — not to torture you with an impossible standard, but because He knows what makes you flourish. Like a father who wants the best for his child, He marks out the path of holiness not as punishment, but as blessing.

You don't have to be perfect today. You just need to be turned toward Him. You just need to choose — in that small decision, in that difficult conversation, in that moment when no one is watching — to act like someone who belongs to God. That is real holiness.

Prayer

God, may my holiness not be performance, but love. May I want to be holy because I want to be close to You. Help me choose well, one day at a time. Amen.
