Day 4 — Young Woman of Faith
Before You Existed, He Already Knew
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Jeremiah 1:5
Think about how much time you've spent asking: who am I? Where am I going? Do I really have a purpose?
Those questions are honest. They matter. But there's an answer that changes everything: God knew you before you existed.
It's not just that He saw you born. It's that before anything else — before your first breath, before your first cry, before any good or bad choice you would ever make — He already knew you. By name. With love. With a plan.
That lifts off of you the weight of having to "invent" who you are from nothing. You're not here by accident, not trying to build a purpose out of a blank page. Something was placed in you before you ever got here. Your task isn't to create your identity — it's to discover the one He already prepared.
You can breathe. You are not an afterthought. You are a project of love that began before you did.
Prayer
Lord, it's hard to believe that You knew me before I existed. But I choose to trust that today. Help me find myself in You, not just in my questions. Amen.
