Day 23Young Woman of Faith

Small Choices, Big Paths

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119:105

A lamp for your feet doesn't light up the whole horizon. It lights up the next step.

Sometimes you want to see the entire path before you walk it — you want to know where you'll be five years from now, what's going to work out, how the story ends. And when you can't see that far, you freeze.

But God rarely reveals the whole path at once. He gives enough light for the next step. And that's enough — because He has already seen the destination.

Every small choice you make today — what you read, how you treat people, who you spend your time with, what you do when no one's watching — those small choices are shaping the big path of your life. There's no leap from point A to point Z without the steps in between.

So today: what's the next step in front of you? Take it. You don't need to see the whole road. You just need to trust the One holding the lamp.

Prayer

Father, sometimes I want to see too far ahead before acting. Thank You for being a lamp to my feet. Help me take the next step with confidence, even without seeing the end. Amen.
