Day 21 — Young Woman of Faith
Remember God Now
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.”
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Solomon wrote this after living a long life — and after forgetting God along the way. He's looking back and saying: don't wait. Don't put it off. Remember Him now, while you're young.
There's a cultural lie that says youth is the time to enjoy yourself, to try everything, to not worry about "those" spiritual things — that those are for old age. But Solomon, who experienced everything the world had to offer, arrived at a different conclusion: God is what makes sense. And the sooner you discover that, the better.
That doesn't mean living without joy, without friends, without adventure. It means bringing God along through this season. Including Him in your choices now — not after you've already made all the hard decisions on your own.
The faith you build in your youth is the ground that will hold you up through the hardest seasons of adult life. Invest in it now.
Prayer
God, I don't want to wait to seek You. I want to remember You now, in my youth, and build my life on You starting today. Help me do this every day. Amen.
