Day 20Young Woman of Faith

God Guides the Willing Heart

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Psalm 32:8

Discovering God's calling for your life isn't an impossible puzzle to solve. He doesn't hide the path to leave you lost. He wants to guide you — and He says so plainly: I will instruct, I will teach, I will counsel.

What He asks is that you be willing. That you stop long enough to listen. That you don't make every decision alone, on autopilot, and then ask Him to bless what you've already decided.

Divine guidance doesn't usually fall from the sky like a sudden bolt of lightning (sometimes it does, but that's not the rule). It comes through the Word, through the counsel of wise people, through circumstances, through the inner peace He gives when the path is right — and through the unease that rises when it isn't.

You don't need to fear missing God's path so badly that there's no way back. He is a patient Guide. As long as your heart is turned toward Him, He will lead.

Stay open. He will speak.

Prayer

Father, sometimes I feel lost along the way. Thank You for promising to guide me. Help me have a heart willing to listen and to trust Your leading. Amen.
