Day 15 — Young Woman of Faith
You Are Loved Today — Not When You Improve
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
If there's one verse to carry in your pocket, it's this one.
God didn't wait for you to improve before loving you. He didn't set conditions. He didn't say, "once you stop messing up, then..." or "once you're more devoted to reading the Bible, then yes..." He loved you while you were still a sinner. At your worst possible moment.
That knocks down any logic of merit. You don't have to earn God's love. You can't lose it by failing. He came first. He stays after.
That love is the foundation for everything we're going to talk about in the coming days. Before we talk about purpose, choices, calling, future — you need to stand firm on this: you are loved. Today. Right now. Unconditionally.
This first block closes here, on this solid ground: you don't need to arrive perfect at God's feet. You've already been welcomed just as you are. That's the starting point for everything.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for loving me before I deserved it. Help me let that love truly land in my heart — and live from it, not to earn it. Amen.
