Day 11 — Young Woman of Faith
Your Life Is Hidden in Christ
“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
Colossians 3:3
Hidden. That word sounds strange at first. We want to be seen, recognized, relevant. Why would life be hidden?
But think about it: hidden doesn't mean ignored. It means kept. Protected. Like a treasure that isn't left exposed to danger because it's too valuable to be at the mercy of any passing wind.
Your life, your deepest identity, isn't on social media, isn't in your résumé, isn't in what others think of you. It's in Christ. That means it can't be destroyed by a bad opinion, a hard season, a mistake you made. Your essence — who you truly are — is kept in a place too safe for anything in this world to reach.
When you get lost in comparisons, when it seems like your life isn't worth as much as someone else's, remember: what defines you isn't on display. It's kept with the One who is unchanging, eternal, and good.
You are more than what shows. Much more.
Prayer
Father, thank You for keeping my life in a safe place — in You. Help me not to place my identity in things that can disappear, but in what is firm in Christ. Amen.
