Day 83 — Goodnight, Lord
The Presence That Never Leaves
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Hebrews 13:5
There's a fear many people carry in silence: the fear of being left alone, of being abandoned exactly when they need help most. At night, that fear can tighten its grip. But God makes a promise that quiets that fear: "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." He doesn't stay with you only when it's convenient; He stays to the very end, in good days and hard ones, in the light and in the dark. You are never truly alone, no matter how empty the room may feel. God's presence is constant, faithful, never absent. Today, if loneliness tries to frighten you, remember this double promise, which God made a point of saying twice: He will not leave you, nor will He forsake you. Rest in that invisible but very real embrace. You fall asleep accompanied by the One who promised never to leave. And God keeps what He promises.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that You do not leave me nor forsake me. Even when I feel alone, You are with me. I rest in Your faithful company. Amen.
