Day 84 — Goodnight, Lord
Let Go of What Was Left Unfinished
“He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6
Almost every day ends with something unfinished. The list never hits zero; there's always something pending, a half-done project, a wish left unfulfilled. At night, that can weigh on you. But the Word brings a deep rest: the most important work — the one God began in you and in your life — doesn't depend on you finishing everything today. He takes it upon Himself to complete what He started, in His own time. You don't need to close every loop before you sleep. What was left half-done remains in the hands of God, who never abandons a work He has begun. Today, let go of the anxiety of the unfinished. Hand over what's pending to Him and trust that what matters will be completed by the One who is faithful. Sleep in peace even with things left open. God finishes what He starts — including in you.
Prayer
Father, I hand over what was left unfinished today. I trust that You will complete the good work You began in me. Take away the anxiety of what's still pending, and give me rest. Amen.
