Day 66 — Goodnight, Lord
He Renews Hope
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
Psalm 27:14
There are nights when hope runs low. The day held so many frustrations that you lie down almost too breathless to believe tomorrow could be better. The Word repeats itself, like someone insisting gently: wait on the Lord. And it promises that, in that waiting, God strengthens the heart. The hope you can't manufacture on your own, He renews. You don't need to force optimism right now; you only need to rest in God and let Him revive your heart in His own time. Waiting isn't standing still with folded arms; it's actively trusting that God is still going to act. Tonight, even with weak hope, surrender to Him and sleep. Strength comes from God, often during rest. Wait on Him: tomorrow your heart may wake up steadier than it lay down.
Prayer
Father, my hope is weak tonight. Strengthen my heart while I rest in You. I wait on the Lord, and I believe You revive me. Amen.
