All things work together for good

Not everything that happened today was good. But there's a promise worth taking to bed with you: God has the power to make all things — even the hard ones — work together for your good. Not that everything is good in itself, but nothing is wasted in His hands. What seems senseless today, He knows how to fit into a bigger plan you can't yet see. That brings a special kind of rest: you don't need to understand how today's chapter will turn into blessing. You only need to trust the Author, who is weaving every thread, even the ones that seemed loose. Tonight, hand over to God whatever didn't make sense, and sleep in the certainty that He wastes nothing. What you lived today will work together for your good, in His time.
