All in the Right Hands

As this month comes to a close, look back. How many times did you choose to trust, even with a tight, anxious heart? How many times did you let go of what you wanted to hold on to? How many times did you grow still when you wanted to run? Every one of those choices was faith. And God saw each one.

He is your confidence. Not a concept, not a philosophy — a Person who keeps you, protects you, guides you. You are not walking with an idea of God. You are walking with Him. And whoever walks with Him has their foot kept from the snares that try to hold them captive.

The month ahead will bring new challenges, new chances to choose between control and trust. And you'll be more ready to choose well, because this month has trained you. Keep trusting. Keep letting go. The hands that received everything you've surrendered so far are the very same hands that will carry whatever comes next. And those hands are the safest in the universe.
