Day 358 — Closer to God — 365 Days
Faith for the Next Chapter
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
The next year is still a blank page. You don't know what's coming. And that can be terrifying — or it can be exciting. It depends on who you trust to write that page with you.
If you rely on your own understanding, you'll slide into anxiety. Because the future has too many variables to calculate.
But if you trust the Lord with all your heart — not with reservations, not "up to a point" — the crooked paths get straightened. Plans that seem impossible find a way. The right doors open at the right time.
Trusting "with all your heart" doesn't mean having no questions. It means bringing your questions to Him, instead of trying to work them out on your own.
What kind of faith do you want to carry into the next chapter of your life? It starts with that choice today.
Prayer
Father, I place the next year in Your hands before it even begins. Where my understanding is limited, Your wisdom is infinite. Make my paths straight. Amen.
