Day 355 — Closer to God — 365 Days
Confidence in What Is Not Yet Seen
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1
Faith is not a shot in the dark. It's a certainty about what hasn't arrived yet. A conviction about what isn't visible yet. It's knowing — not just hoping, but knowing — that what God promised is already on its way.
You entered this year with certain expectations. Some were met. Others are still in line. Some prayers were answered with a yes, others with a wait, others with a no that hurts but that you're beginning to understand.
And here you are, at the end of the year, still believing. That is faith. Not the faith that received everything — the faith that keeps believing even when it hasn't received everything.
That faith is precious. More than you realize. It moves mountains you haven't seen move yet. It reaches promises that are still in motion.
Don't shrink your faith just because the visible doesn't confirm it. The invisible is already at work.
Prayer
Faithful God, sustain my faith in the promises I haven't yet seen fulfilled. May I believe not by what I see, but by who You are. Amen.
