Day 333 — Closer to God — 365 Days
Hope Is Resilience
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”
Romans 12:12
Three things together: rejoicing in hope, patience in tribulation, perseverance in prayer. Paul places all three in the same verse because they walk together — and each one sustains the others.
Rejoicing in hope is not denying what is hard. It is knowing that the current chapter is not the last one. It is finding reason for joy in what God has promised, even when the present hurts.
Patience in tribulation is that quiet steadiness that refuses to bend. Not because it's easy, but because you know tribulation does not have the final word.
And perseverance in prayer is the thread that keeps everything connected. It is returning to God when weariness wants you to give up. It is not stopping the conversation with Him, even when the words are hard to find.
This triad describes a person of hope. Not perfect — resilient.
Prayer
Lord, I want to be that person — rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, persevering in prayer. Give me strength that is not my own. Amen.
