Day 298Closer to God — 365 Days

Faithful in Little, Abundant in Much

For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Matthew 25:29

Jesus told the parable of the talents to show us that what we do with what we have matters. The servant who received five and multiplied them received even more. The one who buried what he had out of fear lost it. The lesson isn't cruel — it's an invitation. Be faithful with what God has placed in your hands today. The talent, the time, the relationship, the resource. Don't wait until you have more to use it well — use well what you have right now. And trust that God honors faithfulness. It isn't about quantity — it's about attitude. When you take careful care of what God has given you, you're saying, "I trust You. I'm being a good steward of what is Yours." And God honors that kind of heart.

Prayer

Father, may I be faithful with what is in my hands today. I won't wait until I have more to serve well — I want to serve with what I have right now. Amen.
