Every Good Gift Comes From Above

Everything good in your life came from God. The love you receive. The talent you have. The health that sustains your body. The friendship that warms your days. The sun that rises each morning. James reminds us: all of it came down from the Father of lights. And more than that — this Father never changes. He doesn't have a bad day when He decides to withdraw His blessings. He never grows tired of being good. In God there is no "shadow of turning" — He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That's an enormous security. When everything around you changes — and it will change — the Giver of every good thing remains the same. And because He doesn't change, we can trust that His goodness will keep coming. Every blessing you recognize today is a signature from the Father who loves you.
