Day 25Closer to God — 365 Days

He Knows Before You Ask

for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Matthew 6:8b

Sometimes we don't even know what to ask for. The pain is so confusing that there are no right words. The need runs so deep that it's hard even to name it.

And then you discover this: He already knows.

Before your prayer takes shape, before you find the right words, before you even recognize the need — He sees. He knows. He's already at work.

This changes prayer. It stops being a business meeting where you hand a list to a distant God. It becomes a conversation with a Father who is already fully aware of your situation — and who wants you to come anyway.

Not because He needs the information. But because the relationship matters. Because the intimacy cultivated in dialogue is worth more than the efficiency of a delivered list.

You can come without the right words. He already knows. And He still wants to hear you.

Prayer

Father, thank You for knowing me before I know myself. May I come to You with the confidence of one who knows she is seen and loved. Amen.
