Day 231 — Closer to God — 365 Days
The Voice That Guides You
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
Isaiah 30:21
There's a beautiful promise hidden in this verse: His voice follows you. It doesn't only go ahead of you — it's behind you when you stray. It reaches you. It calls you back.
You don't have to get it right every time to remain in your purpose. You need to be willing to listen when He says, "This way. Come back. This is the path."
God's voice isn't angry when you stray. It isn't a shout of judgment. It's a patient call. A redirection full of grace. Like a father who sees his child wandering off and says calmly, "Come, my child. It's this way."
Cultivate sensitivity to that voice. It speaks through the Word, through the inner peace that confirms a path, through the wise counsel of sisters in faith, through closed doors that feel unfair but actually protect you.
You have a Guide. And He never falls silent.
Prayer
Father, sharpen my ears to hear Your voice. When I stray, reach me through Your Word and bring me back to the path. Amen.
