Day 228Closer to God — 365 Days

Dreaming with God

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Philippians 2:13

When was the last time you dreamed? Not the sleeping kind — but that daydream, that "what if it were possible..." that crosses your mind and you quickly push away because it seems irresponsible or too big.

God isn't afraid of your dreams. In fact, He's often the one who plants them there.

Dreaming with God is different from fantasizing alone. It's opening your heart to Him and asking: "What does the Lord want to do through me?" It's letting Him expand your horizon beyond the limits you built for yourself.

Maybe the dream needs adjusting. Maybe the path to it looks different than you imagined. But don't give up dreaming just because it seems big.

The God who created the universe isn't intimidated by the size of your dream. He rejoices when you dream with Him, when you dare to imagine more than what seems humanly possible.

Today, bring a dream to God. And listen.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to dream with You. May my dreams align with Your plans. And give me courage to not diminish what You placed in my heart. Amen.
