Day 223 — Closer to God — 365 Days
The Plans He Has
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11
This word was written to a people in exile. Far from home, far from everything they knew, not knowing when — or if — that season would end. And it was exactly there that God said: "I know the plans I have for you."
Not plans of chaos. Not plans of abandonment. Thoughts of peace.
Maybe you're in an exile today — of health, of a relationship, of a dream. In a season you didn't choose and that doesn't seem to make sense. And the Word speaks directly to your heart: God hasn't been distracted from you. He knows exactly where you are. And His plans for you are plans of hope.
The end you're hoping for — restoration, the fulfillment of your calling, the peace that hasn't arrived yet — is within God's horizon. He sees beyond your current exile. And He has already traced the way back home.
Prayer
Lord, when life feels like exile, I remember that Your plans are plans of peace. Hold my hand until the end You promised. Amen.
