Day 222 — Closer to God — 365 Days
He Completes What He Began
“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me.”
Psalm 138:8
There are days when you look at your own life and feel it's incomplete. The calling you glimpsed hasn't arrived yet. The dream you believe God placed in your heart still feels so far away. And impatience tightens its grip.
But the psalmist found peace in one simple, powerful truth: the LORD will perfect that which concerns him. Not you. Him. What concerns your life, your purposes, your calling — is in His hands to complete.
You don't need to force it. You don't need to despair. You don't need to pretend everything is already resolved. But you can rest in this promise: God doesn't abandon what He starts. He is faithful to the end.
Sometimes this "perfecting" comes through waiting that hurts. Through refining we wouldn't have chosen. But all of it is within His care over your life. He is working, even when you cannot see it.
Prayer
Father, I trust that You are faithful to complete everything that concerns my life. May I rest in Your faithfulness even when I can't see the end of the road. Amen.
