Day 221 — Closer to God — 365 Days
The Renewing of the Mind
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Romans 12:2
The greatest battle for purpose doesn't happen out there. It happens in here, in the mind. Because the world will tell you again and again that you're not enough, that it's too late, that your dreams are foolish, that you should just follow everyone else's path.
And that's when the transformation Paul speaks of becomes urgent: don't let this age shape you. Don't let the noise from outside define who you are and what you were made for.
The renewing of the mind isn't automatic. It's a daily choice of where you feed your thoughts. Which voices do you let in? What do you meditate on when you wake up? What occupies your thoughts before you fall asleep?
When the mind begins to be renewed by the Word, something shifts. God's plans start to seem possible. The gifts you always overlooked start to shine. The calling that felt so distant starts to make sense.
Take care of your mind today. It's the field where purpose grows.
Prayer
Lord, renew my mind. May I not be shaped by the world, but transformed by You, to know and live Your will. Amen.
