When the Body Hurts Too

Healing of the heart and healing of the body sometimes go hand in hand. Anyone who has gone through deep emotional pain knows the body feels it too — the unexplainable exhaustion, the tension, the physical weight of carrying a pain that comes from within.

When Jesus walked the earth, He healed bodies and souls. He didn't separate the two. He saw the whole person — what was visible and what was hidden — and cared for all of it.

"He himself took" — He didn't send someone in His place, didn't give instructions from a distance. He carried it Himself. He knows what it is to bear weight. He knows what it is to feel the body give way under pressure. And He intercedes for you today, knowing from the inside what you feel.

Bring the healing of your body to the Lord too. You can ask for that. He cares about every part of you — including the part that hurts physically.
