Day 196 — Closer to God — 365 Days
He Heals You, He Doesn't Condemn You
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
John 3:17
Sometimes our deepest wound isn't what other people did to us — it's what we do to ourselves. The inner voice that says, "You've messed up too much. You don't deserve healing. You can't receive forgiveness."
But this verse is a direct declaration: Jesus did not come to condemn. He came to save. He came to heal. He came to restore.
If you've been carrying condemnation — from yourself, from people who failed you, from a religion that only knew how to point fingers — you need to hear this: that is not God's heart for you.
God looks at you and wants to see you healed, not punished. He wants to see you standing, not on your knees under the weight of shame. Healing of the heart begins when we stop believing the voice that condemns and start receiving the voice that restores.
Prayer
Father, today I choose to believe that You came to save me, not to condemn me. I receive Your mercy. Amen.
