Day 150Closer to God — 365 Days

Daughter of the King

The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

Psalm 45:13

Psalm 45 is a royal poem — it speaks of a king and a bride. And this image is used throughout Scripture to describe God's relationship with His people.

"The king's daughter is all glorious." Not the daughter who behaved best. Not the one who served the most. The daughter. Identity comes before performance.

You are a daughter of the King. This isn't poetic language without consequence — it's a reality that changes how you see yourself and how you move through the world.

Being a daughter of the King doesn't mean a life without difficulty. It means you have access to Him. That His glory can shine through your life. That you are not alone, not abandoned, not without worth.

Today, when the world tries to tell you that you're not enough — remember who your Father is. The daughter of the King.

Prayer

Father, let me walk today with the dignity of one who knows whose daughter she is. Not with arrogance, but with the security of belonging to You. Amen.
