Day 148Closer to God — 365 Days

He Has Not Grown Tired of You

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Isaiah 40:29

Are you tired? Not just physically — that deeper, soul-level exhaustion that comes when you've carried something heavy for too long and your strength has simply run out?

Isaiah speaks straight into that state. And he says something important: it's not the strong who receive more strength from God. It's the weary. It's the one who has no might left at all.

God doesn't just give strength — He increases strength for the one who has none. He works from zero, from empty. He doesn't need a surplus, doesn't need a reserve. He only needs you to come exactly as you are.

So often we wait until we have more energy before we seek God. But He says: come tired. This promise was written exactly for the weary.

Today you can bring your exhaustion without hiding it. Bring the emptiness and let Him fill it.

Prayer

Father, I am weary. Bring Your strength to the place where mine has run out. Let me find in You the strength I can no longer find in myself. Amen.
