Day 147 — Closer to God — 365 Days
Love Without Condemnation
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 8:1
None. It's an absolute word. It doesn't say "little condemnation" or "condemnation on good days." It says none.
If you are in Christ, condemnation has no place in you. Not the kind the enemy tries to bring, not the kind you carry yourself, not the kind other people try to impose.
This doesn't mean you're perfect or that your mistakes don't matter. It means the system of condemnation — the one that declares you guilty, lost, with no way out — was destroyed by the work of Jesus.
The guilt that haunts you doesn't come from God. God brings conviction — that sense that leads you back to Him, that leads to change, that results in peace. Condemnation drags you down, into the pit, into hopeless despair.
Today, if there's a voice inside you declaring you guilty and hopeless — that is not the voice of God. God says: no condemnation.
Prayer
Lord, teach me to tell the difference between Your voice and the voice of condemnation. Let me live in the freedom You purchased. No condemnation. Amen.
