Day 142 — Closer to God — 365 Days
He Knows Your Weakness
“For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”
Psalm 103:14
God is not surprised by your weakness. He has known it from the start — after all, He formed you. He knows what you are made of. He knows your limitations, your blind spots, your fragilities.
And knowing this hasn't pushed Him away from you. Quite the opposite — that's exactly why He is compassionate. Like a father who knows his child is small and doesn't demand more than the child's strength allows.
Sometimes we feel ashamed of our own weakness before God. As if weakness were a disappointment, as if having struggles meant failing Him.
But God has not forgotten that you are dust. He knows you are human. That sometimes the exhaustion is real, the fear is real, the confusion is real. He is not disappointed by any of it.
You can be honest with Him about your limitations. There is nothing in them that He doesn't already know — and He is still on your side.
Prayer
Lord, may I stop hiding my weakness from You. You know it better than I know myself. Thank You for loving me even though I am made of dust. Amen.
