Day 14 — Closer to God — 365 Days
For Everything There Is a Season
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
One of the hardest things to accept is God's timing when it doesn't match our own.
You've waited. Prayed. Done your part. And still, what you long for hasn't arrived. The pregnancy, the job, the healing, the restoration, the financial breakthrough. And you look around and it seems like everyone else has received it — except you.
Ecclesiastes isn't promising that everything will be easy or fast. It's saying that time exists — and that God is the one who controls it. There is a season for everything, and that season isn't random or forgotten.
God hasn't forgotten you. Your request didn't get lost along the way. He is working in dimensions you can't see — preparing you for what's coming, and preparing what's coming for you.
God's timing isn't delay — it's precision. And when the right season arrives, you'll understand why it didn't come sooner.
Prayer
God, waiting is hard. Help me trust Your timing and not my own. May I live well through every season, knowing that You govern each one of them. Amen.
