Day 13Closer to God — 365 Days

Surrender, and He Establishes

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Proverbs 16:3

There's a mess that settles in your head when you're trying to decide or build something all on your own. The plans get tangled, doubts pile up one after another, and what once seemed clear starts to blur.

Proverbs offers a surprisingly simple solution: commit your works to God first.

Not after you have the perfect plan. Not after everything is figured out. Before. Bring Him what is still raw, unfinished, full of questions. And then — only then — your thoughts are established.

"Established" here carries the idea of being firm, founded, secure. God doesn't just bless what you hand over to Him — He clears your mind so you can think better, decide with more wisdom, see the path with more clarity.

Which project, dream, or decision are you trying to work out in your own strength? Bring it to Him now, before anything else.

Prayer

Lord, I place my plans and my works into Your hands. Establish my thoughts, clear my mind, and give me wisdom for every step. Amen.
