Day 118Closer to God — 365 Days

Do Not Grow Weary of Doing Good

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9

Growing weary of doing good is so human that Paul had to write about it. Because it happens. You serve, help, give, pray for others — and it seems like nothing changes. It seems like no one notices. And the temptation to stop is real.

"In due season we shall reap" — God is not ignoring what you sow. Every act of kindness, every word of care, every invisible sacrifice is being recorded by Him. And at the right harvest, in His timing, the fruit appears.

The problem is we want an immediate harvest. And sowing requires patience. The ground doesn't give back on the same day — but it does give back.

"If we faint not" — there's a condition. The harvest is promised to those who don't give up halfway through. Not to the perfect, not to those who never made mistakes, but to those who kept going.

Today, if you're weary of doing good, God tells you: do not faint. His timing is right. The harvest is coming. Keep going.

Prayer

Lord, when I grow weary of doing good without seeing results, sustain me with the promise of a harvest in Your timing. Amen.
