Day 111 — Closer to God — 365 Days
God Cares About Your Weariness
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
Isaiah 40:29
This verse is for the exhausted. For those who've hit the bottom of their energy tank and don't know how tomorrow will work. For those running on zero strength — and God says: I multiply exactly that zero.
Mathematically, multiplying zero gives zero. But with God, the math is different. He takes nothing and creates something. He takes exhaustion and injects life. It's not an illusion — it's supernatural.
You don't need to pretend you have reserves you don't have. God doesn't need you to be strong in order to act. He acts especially when you have nothing left to offer — because that's when it becomes clear it was Him, not you.
Weakness doesn't disqualify you. It makes room. When Paul said, "when I am weak, then I am strong," this is what he meant: acknowledged weakness invites His power.
Come to God today exactly as you are — worn out, with no strength, not knowing how it will turn out. This is exactly what He specializes in.
Prayer
Lord, I am out of strength. But You do not grow weary, and You do not leave those who trust in You without strength. Renew me today. Amen.
