I Will Guide You

One of the quietest anguishes of adulthood is not knowing which path to take. You can have everything seemingly in order on the outside and still feel like you're walking in the dark on the inside.

Which school? Which decision? This relationship or not? Move or stay?

And God shows up with a promise that seems almost too good: I will teach you. I will counsel you. My eyes are on you.

It's not a GPS app that gives you the whole route before you leave. It's a Father who walks beside you, pointing out the next turn as you reach it. God's guidance usually works like this: one step at a time, with watchful eyes on you the whole way.

You don't need the whole map right now. You need to trust the One who has it.
