For Such a Time as This

“And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

I know you have felt small in the face of a problem this size. Esther felt that too. A young woman in a strange palace, afraid to speak, afraid to die, hiding who she was. And it was exactly there, in that uncomfortable place, that I prepared the right moment for her to act.

You too are in a place, a position, a moment that is no accident. Maybe you would not have chosen this hard season, this complicated company, this family full of conflict. But what if that is exactly where I need you? What if your silence today is the reason someone else keeps suffering tomorrow?

I do not ask for courage without giving you the strength for it. Esther fasted, prepared herself, and spoke. You can too. Perhaps you have come this far for such a time as this.
