Day 60Healing for the Heart

Go in Peace: You Are Loved

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Numbers 6:24-26

We've reached the final day, and I want to leave you with the oldest blessing in Scripture — the words with which God commanded His people to be blessed. Read them slowly, as if they were spoken just for you, because they are. You began this journey with your heart in pieces, and look how far you've come. Not everything is resolved, and it doesn't need to be — but you are no longer the same person you were sixty days ago. You've learned that God is near the brokenhearted, that tears have an end, that the night is not forever, that there is new life after pain. Carry this with you. From today on, even without this book in hand, keep coming just as you are, pouring out your heart, laying down your burdens, waiting for the morning. God isn't going anywhere. The same Father who brought you this far walks with you from here on. Go in peace, beloved and healed one. God's best for you is only just beginning.

Prayer

Father, thank You for each one of these days and for never leaving me alone. Bless me and keep me. Make Your face shine upon me and give me Your peace. I walk on with You. Amen.
